ICYMI, Mayor Joy Belmonte signed a new city ordinance making the QCity Bus free permanently. This is not just for QC residents, but for all who are “working, studying, or transacting within the city.”

The “Libreng Sakay” QCity Bus Program was originally launched in 2020 as a temporary measure to help commuters during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the program proved to be so popular that it was extended many times. And now, thanks to the new city ordinance, it will be free to ride for life.

The QCity Bus Service operates 8 routes throughout Quezon City. Most of the routes start and end at the city hall.

Commuter Tips
- The QCity bus is free for anyone who is working, studying, or transacting within Quezon City.
- It operates at different intervals throughout the day. Please check the schedule in advance to plan your trip and avoid delays.
- To board the bus, simply line up at the designated stop with the QCity Bus signage.
- The buses have numbers assigned to it depending on their route. Be sure you are boarding the correct bus to your destination.
- Be prepared to wait longer for a bus during peak hours.
📶 Wi-Fi on board
- Free Wi-Fi is available to passengers. The network name and password are located on the right side overhead near the bus door entrance.
🚲 Bikes
- Folding bikes are allowed inside the bus, but their size must not cause inconvenience to other passengers. If your bike is too large to fit in the aisle, the conductor will help you place it in the compartment under the bus.
